Nicki is an enrolled member of the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians. She works for Great Lakes Housing Services, a nonprofit that assists nonprofits, local units of government and Tribes in Michigan with technical assistance securing funding for income-qualified housing throughout the state. Previously she worked for the Grand Traverse Band in various positions as Lender Liaison, CDFI Start Up Grant Director, and Tribal Business Resource Center Director. Most recently she served as the Housing Director and Development Manager. Nicki received her bachelor's degree in Management and Organizational Development from Spring Arbor University. She is a certified Professional Indian Housing Manager.
