Jeff Mills, SVP, Chief Legal, Corporate and Community Affairs Officer, is responsible for the Bank’s legal and governance, government relations, corporate communications and community investments functions, including SEC and other regulatory compliance, Board of Directors governance, Member Services related legal matters, and the Bank's overall legal strategy. He also serves as one of the Bank's Ethics Officers.
Mills brings broad legal experience from the financial services industry, serving as general counsel and assistant general counsel for several financial institutions, including FHLBank Indianapolis members First Financial Bank and Old National Bank. He also was in private practice as a partner at the law firm Bose McKinney & Evans LLP, and as an associate at Foley & Lardner LLP and Barnes & Thornburg LLP, among others. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business, and a Juris Doctorate from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law.
